11th AGM of the Association of Gynecologists

Notice for AGM on the 27th March 2011

Notice is hereby given for the 11th AGM of the Association of Fellow Gynecologists to be held on Sunday, 27st March 2011 at Sarovar Blossom, opp. Grand Sarovar Premier, Veer Savarkar Fly Over, Goregaon (w), between 8.30 am to 9.30am to discuss the following agenda:-
1. Condolences if any
2. To read and confirm the minutes of the 10th AGM, held on the 31st January 2010 at the G.C.C., Mira – Bhayander Road.
3. Business arising out of the minutes.
4. To read and approve the accounts of the Association for the financial year 2009 - 2010.
5. To appoint the auditors for the year 2010- 2011.
6. To elect the new Managing Committee for the year 2010 - 2011. (Click here download Nomination form)
7. To discuss proposed amendment in constitution on formation of Trust board.
8. Any other matter with the permission of the chair.

In the absence of quorum the meeting will be adjourned and reconvened at the same venue at 9.00am and the meeting will be continued even in the absence of quorum.

Notice for Elections to AFG’s Managing Committee

Nominations are invited for the following posts for the year 2011-2012.
Hon. Vice-president                    1 post
Hon. Secretary                            1 post
Hon. Treasurer                            1 post
Hon. Joint Secretary                    1 post
Hon. Scientific Secretary             1 post
Managing Committee member     8 posts

The managing committee is pleased to appoint Dr. Sudhir Naik as the returning officer.

The completed nomination forms must be submitted in a sealed envelope at the Association’s Secretariat, on or before 3 pm of 17th of March 2011. (10 days before the elections)

The nominations will be opened for scrutiny by the returning officer on the 18th of March 2011 at 4 pm.

The last date for the withdrawal of nominations is 5pm of 20th of March 2011. (One week before the elections)

Elections if any will be held on the 27th of March 2011, between 9am & 10m at Hotel Sarovar, S V Road, Goregaon (w).
