10th AGM of the Association of Gynecologists

Notice for AGM on the 31st January 2010

Notice is hereby given for the 10th AGM of the Association of Fellow Gynecologists to be held on Sunday, 31st January 2010 at G.C.C., Mira – Bhayander Road, between 9 pm to 10 pm to discuss the following agenda:-
1. Condolences if any
2. To read and confirm the minutes of the 9th AGM, held on the 18th January 2009 at the G.C.C., Mira – Bhayander Road.
3. Business arising out of the minutes.
4. To read and approve the accounts of the Association for the financial year 2008 - 2009.
5. To appoint the auditors for the year 2009- 2010.
6. Following the increase in the number of Life Members and to involve more members to the manage the Association, we propose to increase the no. of Elected Members of the Managing Committee to EIGHT (from 6) effective next year. The incoming President only this year, can co-opt FOUR Members of his Committee (instead of 2) to increase the strength of his committee immediately.
7. To elect the new Managing Committee for the year 2010 - 2011. (Click here download Nomination form)
8. Any other matter with the permission of the chair.

In the absence of quorum the meeting will be adjourned and reconvened at the same venue at 9.30 pm and the meeting will be continued even in the absence of quorum.

Notice for Elections to AFG’s Managing Committee

Nominations are invited for the following posts for the year 2010-2011.
Hon. Vice-president                    1 post
Hon. Secretary                            1 post
Hon. Treasurer                            1 post
Hon. Joint Secretary                    1 post
Hon. Scientific Secretary             1 post
Managing Committee member     6 posts

The managing committee is pleased to appoint Dr. ARUN APTE as the returning officer.

The completed nomination forms must be submitted in a sealed envelope at the Association’s Secretariat, on or before 3 pm of 21st of January 2010. (10 days before the elections)

The nominations will be opened for scrutiny by the returning officer on the 24th of January 2010 at 4 pm.

The last date for the withdrawal of nominations is 5pm of 24th of January 2010. (One week before the elections)

Elections if any will be held on the 31st of January 2010, between 4 pm & 5 pm at GCC, Mira – Bhayander Road.
